Pamela and Randy Copus, the award-winning duo known as 2002, have placed 10 albums on the Billboard Charts (271 weeks total) and made the list of top new age artists in the Billboard Magazine “Year in Review” issue, December 2003. Also on the list; Yanni, Manhneim Steamroller, Jim Brickman, George Winston & Enya. Between 1997 and 2002, Pamela and Randy released 7 albums with Sausalito record label Real Music. Real Music also picked up 2002’s earlier self-released albums, Wings (1992) and Saviti (1995) and re-released both with new artwork in 1999. Under their own Galactic Playground Music label, 2002 released Christmas Dreams (2007), and Deep Still Blue (2007) which featured 10 songs and a bonus video DVD. Then came the explosive two-disc set A Word in The Wind (2009), with 5.1 surround sound and videos. Next 2002 released Wings II – Return to Freedom (2009) and Damayanti (2011). The newest album, Believe – A Spiritual Romance (2012) debuted at #8 on the Billboard Chart and has been nominated for “Best Vocal Album” by Zone Music Reporter as well as “Best Album of the Year 2013” and “Mejor Álbum del Febrero 2013” by Reviews New Age (Spain). It has also been on the Amazon Top 100 (new age) for over 100 days, peaking at #7. Randy Copus plays piano, guitar, bass and keyboards. Pamela Copus plays flutes, harp, keyboards and a WX5 wind controller. Newest band member (and daughter) Sarah, adds sweet vocals and Celtic harp. John P.
